It bugs me that online righters are almost entirely pro-Russia. It seems as though rooting for Ukraine is just the natural human emotional response, because they're the guys WHO ARE MORE LIKE US who got invaded by guys WHO ARE LESS LIKE US.
Your remarks are nonsense. The WH went out of its way to stop this invasion, including sharing sensitive intelligence with China. Perhaps parts of the administration wanted it, but to say that the whole of it did is absurd beyond measure. And I hate this administration, but truth is truth. The desperate attempts to share intelligence before the war, that we all recall, was clearly meant to deter the invasion. You cannot explain that as an attempt to cause it. Warning others tends to deter the attacker, not encourage him.
Frankly, only a traitor abandons his country because he is in conflict with his government. Russia sees the USA as its enemy, and will for the rest of time no matter what we do. Siding with them because you have political opponents here is, well, treason. And you are a traitor.
Evil empire vs. shitty empire, ha ha. Yeah, but I ignore the evil empire part of it and just root for the Ukrainians, who are actually doing the fighting although of course they're getting their weapons from our evil rulers. And since I'm rooting for them I'm glad that they're getting weapons from our evil rulers.
It's pretty natural to root for this or that side when you're attending to some conflict. For example, I rooted for the Knicks until they got rid of Jeremy Lin, and I was rooting for Ichinojo until he lost to Shodai yesterday and I got disgusted with sumo. I guess I could just stop following Uke-war news, but it's an entertaining distraction.

"Us" refers to anyone who'd be likely to read blogs such as Franklin Carroll's or Yarvin's, or to watch Podcast of the Lotus Eaters, and so forth.
On the topic of Russia's internal friendliness, this is from a March 5, 2019 The Moscow Times article (https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2019/03/05/russia-will-be-one-third-muslim-in-15-years-chief-mufti-predicts-a64706): "Various estimates place the current Muslim population in Russia at between 14 million and 20 million people, or between 10 to 14 percent of Russia's total population of 146.8 million in 2018."
