The suggestion that Putin would sabotage the pipelines when he already controls tge flow of gas seems absurd. Why not leave the option of providing gas to Germany in place? It allows leverage over Germany. ,while simultaneously retaining a source of income to support the Russian war effort. My money is on the US being responsible .Eliminate a major source of income for the Russian war effort ,simultaneously severing Germany’s dependence on Russia gas , thus Germany’s affiliation with Russia

That remark from Biden about "ending" the pipeline probably came right after he'd already carried out the CIA order to put his signature on the CIA-composed memo to the military to plan and execute the pipeline-destruction in case of a Russian invasion.
