So, the fuel dumping part of the narrative appears to have been confirmed. The only evidence we have for metal on metal contact is the damage done to the propellor but that is looking somewhat more plausible.
However, in order to “poke the drone” the SU-27 would have had to get uncomfortably close to the drone while traveling just above its stall speed.
That said, the damage to the propeller is clear. So, I am beginning to think that the purpose of the “fuel dump” was to blind the drone’s cameras and other censors and that the propeller was damaged by the SU-27 firing its cannon at it. Of course, the Pentagon wants to play down the violent nature of this act and keep some element of deniability in order to avoid escalation: Which is why they are going with the “you poked my propellor narrative.”
