Will Trump's Trials Be Fair and Impartial? No Way
Since everyone who is mentally competent to serve on a jury already has strong opinions about Trump, and his guilt, how exactly can you even impanel an impartial jury? The notion is utterly ridiculous. Frankly, I am getting sick and tired of the magical notions that surround our judicial system: Juries are not magically unbiased. Fairness is not something you can guarantee just because people took some oaths.
If you cannot even bring yourself to think about how your system might fail to be fair and impartial, if you take its fairness as a matter of faith, I can guarantee you that it is not. Fairness is only possible if you critically examine the failure points---just as the safety of any machine is assured only if you know under what conditions it will cease to be safe.
